Castle Park View is the newest addition to Bristol’s skyline. Standing at 98m, it has claimed the title of the tallest building in the city and taken the crown away from Castlemead which is situated just down the road. The building is largely student accommodation but some parts are inhabited by other residents, notably in block D.
As well as being the tallest building in the city, its construction also resulted in the use of a tower crane which held a similar record; the tallest crane ever to grace Bristol with its presence! Of course it would be rude not to go and have a look at this, so some of the photos below are from the crane during the building’s construction.
