NOT to be confused with Dreadnaught Storm Drain, another system in Bristol.
It’s hard to find out much about this drain. It’s been in existence for a good 100 years longer than Dreadnaught. It gets its name from the red brick that was used to build it. It’s shorter than its younger sister Dreadnaught, but it does virtually the same thing by moving water across the city and out into the River Avon.
